Dunno, I could quite happily afford a serious motor if i could keep myself from serious modding. Right now it would probably be a tatty old 535d estate or a brand new peugeot 208 (the fastest diesel)

Probably another Audi 80, give them away these days and they are awesome cars. TDI does 65mpg, 2.8 V6 goes like a rocket, a 90 with a 5-pot sounds like a group B car

I was saving for an EK civic Jordan when I bought my first Gti6, so would have probably ended up going down the jap vtec route TBH, still an itch I want to scratch.

Not really always loads of them in the local ads for sub £1k, id say 3 or 4 usable ones come up a month locally
