205 Gti Turbo - Daniel306 - 21-09-2013 Went and bought a new car today. Its a 2.0 406 sri botom end with a 1900 inlet manifold and Gt28 BB turbo, the engine has been fully forged, rebuit gearbox start of the year with limited slip diff. got it cheep as it had lifted the head as they did not use arp headbolts when it was built [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] [img][/img] RE: 205 Gti Turbo - Stephen - 21-09-2013 Amazing! RE: 205 Gti Turbo - Niall - 21-09-2013 I bet that will be serious fun when its back on the road! Looks great! RE: 205 Gti Turbo - strictly_perv - 21-09-2013 Epic! I had a 190bhp 205 and that seriously shifted, but this must be mental. RE: 205 Gti Turbo - 1616six - 21-09-2013 Epic driveway. Wish I lived somewhere like that! RE: 205 Gti Turbo - Daniel306 - 21-09-2013 Dose the power curve not look a bit short? after 4k it just drops RE: 205 Gti Turbo - devils_fuel - 21-09-2013 Nice little project, might be worth putting a cage in that monster for your own safety RE: 205 Gti Turbo - Craigus - 21-09-2013 Looks sick! Must shift too! This looks like a proper sly monster, hope it's kind to you lol! RE: 205 Gti Turbo - Anton - 21-09-2013 As above. Looks like its 265bhp 310 nm/ftlb RE: 205 Gti Turbo - Daniel306 - 21-09-2013 Fail. how did i not see that. Guessing it needs a better turbo then its 264 @ 5016 (91mph) and 311.5lbft @ 3731 RE: 205 Gti Turbo - Poodle - 22-09-2013 What's wrong with that one then? RE: 205 Gti Turbo - Daniel306 - 24-09-2013 Was planing to just do the head, now im rebuilding the lot, found someone who is going to respray it Also on the lookout for a stronger gearbox than a Gti be3? RE: 205 Gti Turbo - Piggy - 24-09-2013 awesome!!! try and find a old rally 205 box...sequential for the brutal win! RE: 205 Gti Turbo - Daniel306 - 24-09-2013 Just needs to be stronger, this car keeps striping gears, and when i put the new turbo and remap it i may need to buy a quadife synchro kit but thats 1345 + vat RE: 205 Gti Turbo - Piggy - 24-09-2013 ouch. thats about the price of a decent box mind. I meant a proper rally car by the way, not a 205rallye. the old 205 rally cars are getting a bit old now so you can find some nice shiney parts from them kicking around if you do some searching RE: 205 Gti Turbo - Dicky - 24-09-2013 I think I'm in LOVE. RE: 205 Gti Turbo - ozonehostile - 25-09-2013 Erm yeah. I want it :-P RE: 205 Gti Turbo - Daniel306 - 26-09-2013 Bought a new turbo and gears for it today, looks like i need to do lots of overtime RE: 205 Gti Turbo - viper - 26-09-2013 Power to weight ratio! RE: 205 Gti Turbo - Jonny b - 27-09-2013 Love ιt bud!! I have a spare s16 box here if that's any good to ya? RE: 205 Gti Turbo - Daniel306 - 28-09-2013 Is that a be3/6? Iv bought the quadife kit to build a complete box, All I need now is Bosch 660cc 16ohm injectors RE: 205 Gti Turbo - Daniel306 - 01-10-2013 So i wanted a dimma, so much that i bought one that needed a new shell, so i currently have lots of dimma parts including 4 rear wheels and two front the question is, so i send the car to St Performance and get them to supply, fit and paint the car and also register the car with dimma/get a plaque, turning the car into a genuine Dimma, or do i spend about half what it would cost and restore it myself then get a 3rd car to send to ST performance and cost far more RE: 205 Gti Turbo - Midnightclub - 01-10-2013 A genuine turbo'd dimma is always going to be worth a fair wad.. future investment RE: 205 Gti Turbo - Daniel306 - 01-10-2013 I would cost me about 10k, from buying the car, the engine mods i have done and the dimma kit fitted, i would need to do it now while im still is this part of my life Also means that i could get rid of 90% of the scrap i have at my house, and go down to two cars and just buy a ~£200 scrapper every year for winter Something like that RE: 205 Gti Turbo - Piggy - 01-10-2013 ^^^^ that is porn |
