Bit of a strange one?? - pug_dturb - 20-09-2013 Evening all Il get straight to the point I was out with my dad earlier in his 306 on our way back to his farm. Turned right into a bend not massively quick but about 40 and the rear just lost it. We tried to recreate it turning left but couldnt get the car to do it. It was like the drivers rear wheel completely lost it I looked at the rear beam and couldnt see anything out of the ordinary?? Also when you brake from say 50ish the entire car shakes. Its that bad the dash shakes lol Any help appreciated as im towing a quad tommorow RE: Bit of a strange one?? - Piggy - 20-09-2013 rear beam mounts would be something I would check first RE: Bit of a strange one?? - pug_dturb - 20-09-2013 (20-09-2013, 06:42 PM)Piggy Wrote: rear beam mounts would be something I would check first Cheers piggy Ill have a look now RE: Bit of a strange one?? - Connor - 20-09-2013 Whole car shaking under braking, check your discs RE: Bit of a strange one?? - Tom - 20-09-2013 Sounds f*cked Re: Bit of a strange one?? - kentiiboii - 21-09-2013 I wouldn't say beam mounts. They only affected mine when going over 70mph RE: Bit of a strange one?? - Mattcheese31 - 21-09-2013 oil or derv on the road . . . RE: Bit of a strange one?? - John1.4 - 22-09-2013 let off the throttle during the corner? lift off oversteer maybe... had it a couple of times in my ax, although the cazr shaking does sound like warped disc somewhere RE: Bit of a strange one?? - Poodle - 22-09-2013 If the bearings in the beam have collapsed it could cause both these symptoms, got much camber on it? Can you move either of the trailing arms much? |
