Thats me buying new outer dimma split rims out the window

RE: Compomotive gone! - Niall - 19-09-2013

Get in quick and you might be able to :p

RE: Compomotive gone! - Chris - 19-09-2013

Revolution and shmidt rim parts are the same IIRC. Compomotive never had any stock of them anyway.
But yea this sucks as I was planning on buying some wheels from them in the not too distant future.

RE: Compomotive gone! - ozonehostile - 19-09-2013

Ahhhh nooooo :-(

All of my favourite wheels are compomotive :-(

RE: Compomotive gone! - Pete - 19-09-2013

Real shame. The MO 5 spoke is still my favorite wheel, Hell half the reason I bought my old Sigma was because it was wearing some.

RE: Compomotive gone! - Piggy - 19-09-2013

noooooooo!!!

on the plus side...maybe they got lots of stock which will sell for cheap!

RE: Compomotive gone! - tigerstyle - 19-09-2013

Wow, such a small company, such a shame!

RE: Compomotive gone! - Just Sean - 19-09-2013

Shame man! Always loved compomotive wheels!

RE: Compomotive gone! - Eeyore - 19-09-2013

Maybe somebody will buy it and keep it going!

RE: Compomotive gone! - devils_fuel - 19-09-2013

How much money is in the OC PayPal account lol

Tis a shame really as so much nice car jewellery has come from them

RE: Compomotive gone! - Jenkosowls - 19-09-2013

Try spening 13k+ on your own custom wheels for your production off road competition cars then being told you won't see a penny back

RE: Compomotive gone! - Stephen - 19-09-2013

Didnt realise they were so near me, and such a small company, like 24 people? thats mental

RE: Compomotive gone! - procta - 20-09-2013

RE: Compomotive gone! - zx_volcane - 20-09-2013

Sad, but a sign of the times I suppose, MO5 are up there in my favourite alloys of all time.

RE: Compomotive gone! - Dum-Dum - 22-09-2013

LOL at the news fail.

I never really liked their wheels anyway so I wasn't bothered. I guess its a sign of the times with less teenagers owning cars and so less modifying them

quite stereotypical dont you think assuming that its just teenagers that modify cars? Just look at .net and this forum. Or even better, look at the 6 forum! thats mostly middle aged men and women!

RE: Compomotive gone! - Curt - 22-09-2013

I think due to the fact that not many of us can realistically afford Comps, that not many teenagers would be putting them on their cars... Far too nice for most teenager's tastes anyway.

Yes but people our age have always modified cars and still do and still spend the money but when I was 17/18 everyone learned to drive but these days no where near as many do.

RE: Compomotive gone! - Rippthrough - 22-09-2013

Comp always sold more wheels to the racers and manufacturers than anything else anyway
