Noob setup bosch - Tyronnster - 15-09-2013

Got my Bosch fitted earlier in the week an just sorting the fine tuning but I'm a bit stuck,

Nothing seems to happen until the throttle is about half way. My old bosch u only had to touch the throttle an would rev the arse off

Bit stuck on what to do etc

It will start an idle (a bit rough) but when messing with throttle doesn't seem to respond

Any help

(I know there is guide but I am really thick)

RE: Noob setup bosch - Daniel306 - 15-09-2013

Has the throttle lever been put on the correct spline?

RE: Noob setup bosch - Piggy - 15-09-2013

Re: Noob setup bosch - Tyronnster - 15-09-2013

You wont tell from a pic.

But did you put the throttle arm on yourself?...if so, how?

is it a standard 9mm?

Re: Noob setup bosch - Tyronnster - 15-09-2013

I didn't do the conversion jenks did,

It feels like there is nothing till half way.

Will get video uloaded

RE: Noob setup bosch - Piggy - 15-09-2013

is there no resistance at all and no engine change at all with the first movement of the arm?

Re: Noob setup bosch - Tyronnster - 15-09-2013

Nah nothing when first press it the video looks like there is a delay lol

Video uploading now excuse noisey idler lol

RE: Noob setup bosch - Piggy - 15-09-2013

at full throttle...is it ACTUALLY full throttle!?

Re: Noob setup bosch - Tyronnster - 15-09-2013

No it don't work 2 mins uploading elsewhere

RE: Noob setup bosch - Daniel306 - 15-09-2013

Try removing the arm and turning the spline clockwise one or two splines in relation to the arm and bolt it back up

just remember to mark it so that you can put it back how it was if needed

RE: Noob setup bosch - Piggy - 15-09-2013

^^^ yeah this for sure.

mark arm to the slot in the shaft for future ref

remove arm bolt.

Take arm just above splines.

get screwdriver on to the shaft, turn it clockwise till it stops. drop arm back on splines. bolt back on.

try it!

RE: Noob setup bosch - Tom - 15-09-2013

Yeah more max fuel or wind in a minimum throttle travel screw to take up the slack.
