Help with tyres - kentiiboii - 27-08-2013 Right some may of seen ive had a nail in my tyre. Been looking at tyres was hoping for another enduro runway so they match but no one can get. Budgets are £66 cheapest fitted. Yet online I can get toyo proxies for £51. So I was thinking I can match the tyres up front with toyos which are £111 for a pair or £139 delivered and fitted. What tyres would you recommend dont wanna spend much more than £70 a corner including fitting RE: Help with tyres - cwspellowe - 27-08-2013 Size? RE: Help with tyres - lolsteve - 27-08-2013 If you just want some cheap tyres fitted that will do for general driving + some spirtied driving I would say Nankang ns2 would do. Don't expect much of them I'm just using and abusing them until they die and I can whack on something better For my 205/45/17's they were £39 delivered and it cost me £5 a corner to have fitted RE: Help with tyres - Tom - 27-08-2013 Michelin PE2 - If you can still get them, they have replaced them with something. Pirelli P Zero Nero. Or proxes but they wear quite fast, my mates fiesta goes through a set a year. RE: Help with tyres - Just Sean - 27-08-2013 That's cheap! Kuhmo ku31s are also good budgets! RE: Help with tyres - Matt - 27-08-2013 Is that online price or fitters price? Catskills are nomally good for budgets RE: Help with tyres - Matt - 27-08-2013 f*cking auto correct. Camskill RE: Help with tyres - Curt - 27-08-2013 Moved to the correct section. Falken ZE914s are a good all rounder. RE: Help with tyres - lolsteve - 27-08-2013 Tyretraders.com NANKANG 205/40R17 84V NS2 Fuel Efficency:F Wet Grip:C Noise dB:71 Noise £123.12 Carriage Charge £12.47 Plus vat so it came to like £160 for all 4 corners. Re: RE: Help with tyres - kentiiboii - 27-08-2013 (27-08-2013, 02:09 PM)lolsteve Wrote: Tyretraders.com Gosh theyre good price. Tyres needed are 205/45r17. I have around £150 to spend just fronts are needed. My current tyres have only covered about 5k RE: Help with tyres - Curt - 27-08-2013 They're cheap tyres, that's why... and that 5% difference in profile will effect the price, 45s will be more. My advice is spend that £150 on the best tyres you can afford for the front, then do the back when you can. Avon ZZ3s are £70 on Camskill and they're very good tyres. Re: Help with tyres - CJ_Derv - 27-08-2013 Get 15" rims and be able to afford better rubber Re: RE: Help with tyres - kentiiboii - 27-08-2013 (27-08-2013, 06:26 PM)CJ_Derv Wrote: Get 15" rims and be able to afford better rubber To small though RE: Help with tyres - James92 - 29-08-2013 I've had a couple of sets of t1rs for cheap tyres there ok, i found they lasted quite a while too RE: Help with tyres - Just Sean - 29-08-2013 I've been looking at ad08s and from what I've researched they seem to last for ages! Will be my next tyre RE: Help with tyres - martyn92 - 01-09-2013 (29-08-2013, 08:09 PM)Just Sean Wrote: I've been looking at ad08s and from what I've researched they seem to last for ages! They are a good tyre just expensive Re: Help with tyres - kentiiboii - 01-09-2013 Well the t1rs are on the car and they seem to grip really well. For the amount I drive my car and how much I actually hoon it I think they'll be ok need to get rears next.
