So was driving alomg in 5 gear accelerated to overtake two cars and suddenly... loads of black smoke out the back... and no drive and pulled over and it stalled checked underneath the boost gauge indicated theres no leek.. started it up and drove off.. I doesnt feel right just cant work it out.... what happened??
Maybe the lift pump cut?? Any help?

Pretty sure its not the lift pump, the engine would die instantly and there'd be no fuel there to make black smoke.
I'd say its air related but really odd that you drove off fine!
Was there any extra smoke when you drove away? Is your egr blanked?

Egr is blanked, yes
No extra black smoke when I drove off of anything its driving cleaner...
When the problem happened it wouldnt accelerate after it just blocked the throttle had to put over and restart the engine..

Sounds like you sucked a boost pipe flat or something, is your car tuned?

I would probably agree with dum dum
Check all your boost hoses. Make sure tthey're all nice and secure

Its running a stage 1 mapped ecu and 2.5 inch intercooler.
