Inside a Ph1 Radiator... - Harky - 22-08-2013 Evening all, quick query just. I put a conrod through my radiator and got myself a new ph1 one off ebay. Noticed a rattle inside it, opened the cap and theres this thing in it. On the old radiator it appears fixed in a hole in the bottom of the reservoir, this one just floats about loose. Anyone know what this is for, and what way its supposed to sit? Thanks RE: Inside a Ph1 Radiator... - Danny2009 - 22-08-2013 Think that's for the level when It pops up its full RE: Inside a Ph1 Radiator... - samass - 22-08-2013 that's a funny looking conrod... RE: Inside a Ph1 Radiator... - Harky - 23-08-2013 Cheers guys. danny, I filled the radiator today and didn't notice it moving. Going to get hold of the supplier, see what they say about it! RE: Inside a Ph1 Radiator... - Grant - 23-08-2013 It looks as if it is supposed to be a breather of sorts. Look at the top. Thats my opinion anyways RE: Inside a Ph1 Radiator... - Tom - 23-08-2013 Mines attached to the bottom of the rad and water gets pumped up through it to the top of the rad. RE: Inside a Ph1 Radiator... - Harky - 24-08-2013 Cheers Tom, contacted the seller and he confirmed that it shouldn't be like that so hopefully getting it sorted now. Cheers guys. RE: Inside a Ph1 Radiator... - Tom - 24-08-2013 Glad you got it sorted :p |
