Uprated lower engine mounts - Rippthrough - 21-08-2013 I've got a spare XU fitment semi-solid mount here (Billet ally outer, polyurethane centre), and will have a spare completely solid ally one Monday too. £39.50 including postage for the semi-solid one. £29.50 inc. post for the solid aluminium one. They can be supplied to take an M12 bolt instead of an M10 for the high powered cars, no extra charge. If you need it fitting, send me your lower housing up and I'll send it back with the bush in, again, no charge bar the postage. Will have a picture up shortly. RE: Uprated lower engine mounts - Grant - 21-08-2013 Fair prices them! I've got solid mount on my 2.0 XSI and rate it. Not as harsh as people think, but completely transforms the drive GLWTS RE: Uprated lower engine mounts - Bender - 21-08-2013 A solid fork mount would make it even better too. Just rest of the car lmao! RE: Uprated lower engine mounts - Rippthrough - 21-08-2013 Haha, you got that one did you Grant? Cheers all your female passengers up at traffic lights if you attach it to a clattery diesel RE: Uprated lower engine mounts - Grant - 22-08-2013 Was that your first? It's faultless tbh. Do you do a solid version of the bush that goes in the fork? RE: Uprated lower engine mounts - Rippthrough - 22-08-2013 Probably could offer those too, or perhaps just a very stiff poly version so there's justenough give to keep everything lined up. RE: Uprated lower engine mounts - Grant - 22-08-2013 Well let me know if you do as mine is shot and needs replacing RE: Uprated lower engine mounts - ally406 - 22-08-2013 A slightly related question, could you make poly bushes for 405 lower suspension arms? RE: Uprated lower engine mounts - Rippthrough - 22-08-2013 Pic as promised: Please note that isn't actually finished in the picture, it has lightening holes drilled around the circumference and another insert in the middle, but you get the idea, I'll get a picture of a finished one when I nip up to the workshop. RE: Uprated lower engine mounts - Piggy - 22-08-2013 I've noticed those second bushes, the ones on the fork on the subframe get fubared too...anyone got options to sort them? RE: Uprated lower engine mounts - Rippthrough - 17-09-2013 Maybe, ally ones won't be for a while yet though, although I could weld you a steel one up if you want. I have two undrilled (slightly cheaper at £35 and £25 respectively) ones left, drilled/12mm ones are sold: RE: Uprated lower engine mounts - Rippthrough - 20-09-2013 Solid mount sold, poly still available. RE: Uprated lower engine mounts - Rippthrough - 20-09-2013 Provisionally sold. RE: Uprated lower engine mounts - Poodle - 20-09-2013 Damn, missed another batch of epic. Need to keep a sharper eye out lol. Likely to be more any time soon? RE: Uprated lower engine mounts - Rippthrough - 20-09-2013 Probably be the end of next month. RE: Uprated lower engine mounts - Poodle - 21-09-2013 Must try and remember to keep my eyes open lol, such a fail. RE: Uprated lower engine mounts - Rippthrough - 21-09-2013 You wanting a poly one or solid? RE: Uprated lower engine mounts - Poodle - 22-09-2013 Poly please! |
