New Car time. so many choices - ozonehostile - 17-08-2013 Ok then, so as most of you have seen I wrote the sedan off last weekend ![]() which leaves me in the situation of needing a new daily for work and other general driving around. my current plans are to drive the rallye for a bit and save up a few quid to buy a nice daily, finish the truck turbo 306 build then buy something so I can retire the rallye and truck tub back to weekend toy status. anyway, im in the extremely fortunate position of having a good income and not much to spend it on so fancy something nice for a daily. current thoughts are: drop the 2.1 out of the sedan, find another donor car to drop it in, carry on as i was. keep the 2.1 to use in the truck tub buy something cheap and shit that i wont be tempted to spend money on, more funds for the 306 and rallye or..... buy something nice, perv or derv, insurance cost isn't really an issue, nor is fuel economy, well more than 25mpg is preferable but meh thoughts so far: Mercedes E class, big engine luxury barge nissan skyline r32 (expensive yes, thirsty yes but still, its an option) peugeot 607, slam it, remap it impreza, evo 3,4,5 thats the sort of stuff im looking at, what thoughts do you have? no bmw, no VAG non of that interests me RE: New Car time. so many choices - Piggy - 17-08-2013 buy my old green turd to drop 2.1 in?? or an evo. tbh, I be all over an evo5 if I had the cash...well evo8 but they still around the 8k mark RE: New Car time. so many choices - ozonehostile - 17-08-2013 (17-08-2013, 10:45 AM)Piggy Wrote: buy my old green turd to drop 2.1 in?? it all depends on how patient I am saving up for the car, pre evo 5 can get nice ones for about 2k RE: New Car time. so many choices - Piggy - 17-08-2013 yeah you can RE: New Car time. so many choices - Midnightclub - 17-08-2013 Skyline /endthread RE: New Car time. so many choices - jammapic - 17-08-2013 E36 m3. I'm going to downsize shortly as I cba with three mot's, three lots of road tax, insurance etc. RE: New Car time. so many choices - Piggy - 17-08-2013 yeah be he only has 1car that is hopefully guna be roadworthy soon. I would have 3 and a bike...if I had the space RE: New Car time. so many choices - ozonehostile - 17-08-2013 (17-08-2013, 11:19 AM)C2K Wrote: To be honest mate, i'd stick to two cars. RE: New Car time. so many choices - C2K - 17-08-2013 Put an interior back in the rallye tbh.
