Wiw/gi my Rallye - Matt - 14-08-2013

Right so it pains me to do this, but might have to as behind with rent.

So here we go,

Peugeot 306 Rallye bianca white
110k engine
125k shell
Red clones
Lowed 30mm all round
Reclining bucket seats
Trs black 3 point harnesses
Omp subframe
Genuine omp corsica steering wheel and boss
Striped from front seats back
Black masks
Some carbon wrapped parts
Decat

Good bits
Really clean car, haven't seen any rust yet.
Engine bay had a slight clean up before the engine change.
Lovely looking car, those who have seen it will agree.
Strong new engine. Sounded beautiful in vaughans black '6

Bad bits need brakes all round, no tax no mot. Few niggly bits to get it right but I can put right.
Needs cambelt ideally.
Needs an exhaust

I absolutely love this at and it will kill me too see it go.

Will come with

Wishbones to replace
Quick shift
Gti cat
Whatever spares I can fit in the boot, I know there is loads

To get it running on its on power, it needs coolant and gearbox oil I believe.

Sure Niall/Sam will confirm as they fitted the engine.

This is a general what's it worth thread, but if it reaches the price I have in mind then I might part.
I do have a way round the rent but I really don't want to head that way

RE: Wiw/gi my Rallye - ginge191 - 14-08-2013

Its tough as it has no test or tax; so could cost ANYTHING to repair it.

I'd say with all the shinies you're sitting on £900-£1000. With T&T you're looking at £1400-£1500. Engine is on decent milage, some nice parts if someone breaks it and sells seperately.

RE: Wiw/gi my Rallye - Matt - 14-08-2013

I know it could cost anything. As far as I'm aware only things it will need is brakes all round, airbag sorting, wishbones/bjs fitting, and standard headlight bulbs putting in as has hids lol

yeh it's easy enough saying that... but it doesn't convince anyone anymore im afraid. it's a harsh reality Sad

RE: Wiw/gi my Rallye - Matt - 14-08-2013

Yeah I know that Smile may stick an mot on it as I know it won't take a lot to pass.

Oh wait.... Can't even afford the mot lol

RE: Wiw/gi my Rallye - Niall - 14-08-2013

Yeah both me and sam know the car quite well. If im honest, even if it had T&T, i would still only value it at about £900-1000. Not being horrible mate but bits of it are tatty and bodged.

Without T&T, £500 to the right person!

RE: Wiw/gi my Rallye - Kimmie - 14-08-2013

Finally!

I really feel for you having to consider this Matt but it's definitely the right thing for you to do Smile

RE: Wiw/gi my Rallye - Tom - 14-08-2013

In my mind, no tax and test means its 500, normally i'd say less because im tight but it is a rallye so that has to count for something, right?

Not argueing but what is bodged? If you mean the seats, they were due to be sorted as the engine blew haha

Mainly the seats. lol. Tbh im just really OCD with my cars. Personally i dont like the brushed on hammerite in the back. If that had of been me, i would of sprayed it but then as i said, im really fussy! Overall its a good solid car tbh but as im sure your aware, anything with faults and no T&T is worth not much more than scrap.

RE: Wiw/gi my Rallye - Matt - 14-08-2013

Yeah tbh that was meant to be temporary to sort the rust under the seats. But then put it in the back burner while I sorted other things

RE: Wiw/gi my Rallye - cully - 14-08-2013

where is the car? as the transport cost hasto be considerd too

and as your behind with the rent you might need to keep it as you will need somewhere to live!

RE: Wiw/gi my Rallye - Grant - 27-08-2013

Do a swap with him Wink

Matt, seriously mate get it back up and running and with Tex and MOT. Sell off a few of the shinies, that are nice to own, but no use to you, and use the money to fund fixing and selling this. It's dead cash sitting there otherwise.

RE: Wiw/gi my Rallye - Matt - 27-08-2013

Yeah I have a feeling I might return it too standard.

Sell the reclining buckets, harnesses, omp subframes, fit standard seats.
Sell the steering wheel and boss. That should make me a couple of hundred to get it mot'd

It's only got two seats so no where for the kids anyway haha! Love white rallyes though was very tempted! Adam wouldn't let me have one though Sad
