Lynx power SC kit - callumcull - 08-08-2013

As the title suggests I need to charge my 6. I'd LOVE to go down 306GT30's turbo route, but I just don't have that kind of money.

So, I want to be tight and supercharge it for as cheap as possible, I understand the low boost is a 'bolt on' job as such.

Does anyone have the kit for sale or could guide me in the direction of that build for example, what SC, part list ect ect.

Any help would be much appreciated Smile

You'd have better luck on the 6 forum mate.

Personally if you were in a budget avoid lynx. They're pirate as f*ck. But yourself an eaton charger off a mini and make the bits yourself. There's a chap with a 205 at ace who did this for £1600. Best budget way imo

That 205 was a work of self made art.

would agree, better off sourcing the bits yourself, learning new tools etc rather than buying a full kit, will be a lot more friendly on the bank balance

DEFINITELY do it some way though! (as long as I can have a go)

Thanks guys, I'll look into it that way.

1600 for a supercharger and some pipe work and some brackets? You dont think thats a bit much?

RE: Lynx power SC kit - Grant - 09-08-2013

I would have said that was too unfair. Comes with all gubbins needed etc

its cheap compared to what rich wants for it

and also taking into account the supercharger alone is £1550 NEW and sell for £1k on ebay second hand all day long

your getting over £2.7k worth of stuff for your £1600

RE: Lynx power SC kit - Dangti6 - 09-08-2013

Why would you say Lynx are 'pirate as f*ck'? Not starting an argument I'm just wondering of you could elaborate on why it is you think that and any justifications.

I agree the kits are expensive new and I personally don't like the delivery of the chargers anyway but I can appreciate a lot of development went in to producing the kits before they went to market.
