Lynx power SC kit - callumcull - 08-08-2013 As the title suggests I need to charge my 6. I'd LOVE to go down 306GT30's turbo route, but I just don't have that kind of money. So, I want to be tight and supercharge it for as cheap as possible, I understand the low boost is a 'bolt on' job as such. Does anyone have the kit for sale or could guide me in the direction of that build for example, what SC, part list ect ect. Any help would be much appreciated ![]() RE: Lynx power SC kit - Piggy - 08-08-2013 jamie, or puglove, would be the man to chat to... ![]() RE: Lynx power SC kit - Grant - 08-08-2013 You'd have better luck on the 6 forum mate. Personally if you were in a budget avoid lynx. They're pirate as f*ck. But yourself an eaton charger off a mini and make the bits yourself. There's a chap with a 205 at ace who did this for £1600. Best budget way imo RE: Lynx power SC kit - Pompey306mark - 08-08-2013 That 205 was a work of self made art. (as long as I can have a go) RE: Lynx power SC kit - 4WayDiablo - 08-08-2013 Fella on Facebook had a SC kit going Was advertised on 306 gti6 appreciation group RE: Lynx power SC kit - Grant - 08-08-2013 How much Phil? Lynx power SC kit - callumcull - 09-08-2013 Thanks guys, I'll look into it that way. And yes Joe, you're more than welcome to drive it once it's been charged ![]() RE: Lynx power SC kit - puglove - 09-08-2013 http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=156477 Lynx power SC kit - callumcull - 09-08-2013 (09-08-2013, 09:17 AM)puglove Wrote: http://www.306gti6.com/forum/showthread.php?id=156477 Thank you, I want this so bad, if this is still for sale in 2 months I'm having it!! Legend ![]() RE: Lynx power SC kit - Tom - 09-08-2013 1600 for a supercharger and some pipe work and some brackets? You dont think thats a bit much? RE: Lynx power SC kit - Grant - 09-08-2013 I would have said that was too unfair. Comes with all gubbins needed etc RE: Lynx power SC kit - puglove - 09-08-2013 (09-08-2013, 03:31 PM)Tom Wrote: 1600 for a supercharger and some pipe work and some brackets? You dont think thats a bit much? its cheap compared to what rich wants for it and also taking into account the supercharger alone is £1550 NEW and sell for £1k on ebay second hand all day long your getting over £2.7k worth of stuff for your £1600 http://www.lynxpowerengineering.co.uk/LowBoost.pdf RE: Lynx power SC kit - Dangti6 - 09-08-2013 Why would you say Lynx are 'pirate as f*ck'? Not starting an argument I'm just wondering of you could elaborate on why it is you think that and any justifications. I agree the kits are expensive new and I personally don't like the delivery of the chargers anyway but I can appreciate a lot of development went in to producing the kits before they went to market. |
