lamex tint film - paul7278 - 05-08-2013

Im thinking of doing my new fogs on my ph1 yellow and seen Lamex do a yellow film. Has anyone ever used this stuff?

Not used tgat stuff specifically but i did my ph3 fogs with some cheap ebay stuff. Only cost a few quid but it goes on alright. Is suggest smoothing it onto the biggest flat surface and then using heat and working your way out from there. I stick a hairdryer on full heat and clamp it in my vice, then i can put on a much or little heat as i need as i stretch and smooth it out.

Some of the cheap films can fade over time, just luck of the draw! I am gonna be using Lamin-X as it has great reviews and is said not to fade... Smile

I used cheap eBay film on mine, like £5 posted from China. Worked fine, heat was helpful as it was really thick. I did my phase 1 fogs and Matt used the remainder for his headlights. Never had any experience with Lamin-x specifically but I'm sure it's fine

I used lamin x on my other car on the headlights and the fogs, been on about 2 years now and not had a problem with it. I tried some of the cheap stuff first but didn't really get on with it, lamin x is quite thick and once heated is nice and easy to use.
