Hi i need a new turbo t reg 1998. what turbo will work on it with modding anythink i here there are a few types

Depends if you want something thats a straight bolt on fit, or dont mind making plates and oil lines and exhausts to adapt it.

Option A, Buy a GT15, K03, K14, T2, They all bolt straight on, sorted.

Option B, Pick a turbo, make plates to adapt, bolt on, hoon.

The pipe on the inlet underneath is the egr i understand this can be blanked

Yeah welded up or i think you can get blanks.

Turbo from a petrol car work if so I've got a turbo from a rover coupe

Depends, if you can make plates to adapt it? It might be miles to big also.

were are you i have my old manifold and tubo turbo is naff but if your moddin it might be some use

A naturally aspirated diesel inlet? Dont think so.
