hi all, im wondering if any of you can help me on this please!!!
the other day i was going to change my dipped beam bulb on my 306 1.9d as i noticed it wasn't working,i changed it and still it didnt work so first thing that came to mind was fuse!! so i checked the fuse and it had blow Sad anyway cut a long story short i changed it and turned the lights on to see if it worked and it blew it straight away, i put another 2 fuses in and it blew all of them as soon as i turned the lights on???? iv asked a few people and been told it could be the earth strap for the actual headlight?? but i thought id ask on here to see if anyone of you could tell me more info??!! all replies much appreicated thanks jay

take the bulb out and see if it blows the fuse

if it does you have a wire fault down to ground

thanks very much for the quick reply, like you say if it blows while the fuse it out it could be a wire fault down to ground, how would i get round fixing that??

first you would have to find the chafed/burnd/broken wire
check the exposed moving bits first plug at headlight and wire to the loom from the headlight
