RE: XUD RR results *THE BIBLE* - Piggy - 16-10-2013

true would expect more from an 11mm but the curves seem quite sweet and theres not many td04 powered xuds with much more bhp

Seems about right to me, good result from that setup imo.

I know a couple have pulled high 180s from a tdo4, but 175 seems about right to me.

does the 11mm hardly add anything to the performance then? cos with danny pulling 177bhp (or there abouts) on a 9mm td04 and top mount (his old set up) would have expected the 11mm to pull closer to the 190-200bhp? or am i wrong?

RE: XUD RR results *THE BIBLE* - Anton - 16-10-2013

Depending on what turbo people are using a TD04 is around a 170-180bhp turbo. Results seem bang on to me.

I doubt a TD04 will pull 190-200bhp....

There is a huge difference between having a 9mm and an 11mm pump on the car in terms of how it drives. Way more fuelling potential.

RE: XUD RR results *THE BIBLE* - c.gerrard - 16-10-2013

These are the exact thoughts that have been circulating my head over the last few days.

It would be quite easy for me to sit here and state reason x, y and z as to why I thought it should be more, but first of all, I'll sound like a tool and secondly, there's no fooling you lot!

I do honestly think it could be more, so I'm gonna go away sort everything and hopefully get it rolled again with an improved result Smile

RE: XUD RR results *THE BIBLE* - padge - 16-10-2013

11mm td04 will piss 190bhp, 40psi says so, I had my old diablo roled at rstuning and it made 160bhp/248lbs at 28psi, only boosting to 3500rpm though, when I ran td04 at 40psi, the difference in power was insane, it was much quicker.

RE: XUD RR results *THE BIBLE* - Dum-Dum - 20-10-2013

Padge your doing a good job of keeping this up to date but would you put it in some sort of order, maybe group 9mms and 11mms together and then put them in power order or something.

RE: XUD RR results *THE BIBLE* - padge - 20-10-2013

i'll sort it into groups/power order tomorrow sometime mate.

RE: XUD RR results *THE BIBLE* - silverzx - 27-11-2013

Can we copy DumDum's HDi RR Guide format.

Looks a lot tidier / helpful.

RE: XUD RR results *THE BIBLE* - Piggy - 28-11-2013

nice...

hope to add mine in new year

RE: XUD RR results *THE BIBLE* - zx_volcane - 28-11-2013

Looks a lot better laid out like that, the mystery 174 bhp 273ft/lbs was my old zx

and my current one pulled 275 I think ft/lbs on that 208bhp run

RE: XUD RR results *THE BIBLE* - anto - 06-12-2013

Nicely laid out @silverzx

RE: XUD RR results *THE BIBLE* - bobertmate - 17-12-2013

Anyone else got a K03s Hybrid turbo? Haven't seen another one around and he bought his old DT with it already fitted with invoices from Turbo Dynamics..

You didnt make the most torque though...quite a few had more Tongue

RE: XUD RR results *THE BIBLE* - strictly_perv - 17-12-2013

Didn't need it in the 205 it went like shit off a shovel Wink

In my experience it doesnt come off a shovel all that well...

Perhaps it was more like 'faster than a cheetah on redbull'?

RE: XUD RR results *THE BIBLE* - Ruan - 17-12-2013

Notice that most of the 11mm engines are creating more torque the the 9s...

My one with a K14 and an 11mm, 250lbft... Most others are at least 20lbft less... But the 11s will tend to rev harder also.. They're a win-win situation... Most people soon as they have one won't go back... Anyone that says they smoke too much just can't set them up...

I refer people to my DT on the dyno, barely a whiff of smoke, only a slight haze as it spools the turbo then quickly goes away.

RE: XUD RR results *THE BIBLE* - jammapic - 17-12-2013

Why is mine a stage 3? All it had was a bigger turbo, some light headwork, a clutch. It was on a 9mm pump still albeit modified internally.

Cant agree more...

I will never use anything but 11mm...

I thought it being smokey as hell...till chatted with you...got it setup right and the turbo working well and with some more right foot training its amazing.

Can still coal someone mad when you mash ya foot down in 4th at 30mph...but thats useful sometimes with a bmw cock behind

Because it had a custom built uber-turbo and headwork, that's definitely beyond fmic/td04 and a gov mod territory tbf.

Tailgater repellent! Even better in winter, cos people have the fans and heaters on the car so they get the smell of lovely hot burnt diesel soot.

RE: XUD RR results *THE BIBLE* - Piggy - 23-12-2013

Just quick correction...its unburnt diesel soot!! Tongue

Im in a pedantic mood Smile

RE: XUD RR results *THE BIBLE* - jammapic - 23-12-2013

Actually... technically, it's part burnt diesel... totally UNBURNT diesel is white, and smells funny. Think timing smoke... Tongue

RE: XUD RR results *THE BIBLE* - Piggy - 23-12-2013

True. But we all know it as coal
