Epic times can be had for not alot of money and if it goes tits up, you haven't lost much. RE: Colin McSamass - puglove - 15-07-2013 how is somthing that should be the bigges brokeb/blown up heap of shit ever so epic??? must be the dash mounted jesus RE: Colin McSamass - darrenjlobb - 15-07-2013 Always the case, the more you spend on bits to make it "reliable" the more stuff that constantly goes wrong, then you go out and strap a blower to a TUD NAD, which constantly pop hg's in there NA form normally, and its fine for months haha, gotta love it. To be fair though, what this thing needs is material off the pistons, and a big 2056v, and a paddle clutch, would literally be out of control then RE: Colin McSamass - Niall - 15-07-2013 Oh it popped it's hg yesterday after that last win run. Pissing out coolant between the block and head. Torque the head bolts back down and she was good to drive to Manchester lol RE: Colin McSamass - Dum-Dum - 15-07-2013 (15-07-2013, 12:45 PM)darrenjlobb Wrote: Always the case, the more you spend on bits to make it "reliable" the more stuff that constantly goes wrong, then you go out and strap a blower to a TUD NAD, which constantly pop hg's in there NA form normally, and its fine for months haha, gotta love it. TBF his head gasket did go on the hill so took the rocker cover off, tightened the f*ck out the head bolts and apparently its been fine since if not maybe even better than it was beforehand. This makes me miss my nad soooooo much RE: Colin McSamass - Niall - 15-07-2013 (15-07-2013, 12:50 PM)Dum-Dum Wrote:(15-07-2013, 12:45 PM)darrenjlobb Wrote: Always the case, the more you spend on bits to make it "reliable" the more stuff that constantly goes wrong, then you go out and strap a blower to a TUD NAD, which constantly pop hg's in there NA form normally, and its fine for months haha, gotta love it. My car is a f*cked pile of shit, but i love her, and i love that you miserable lot love her brokenness! Now I just need to fit that bigger turbo and the paddle clutch and see if she'll die then! No gt20v tho, sorry Darren... Oh and lol at my title! RE: Colin McSamass - Ruan - 15-07-2013 I do still keep wondering whether I should source you a GT2056 for this... It'd be massively win... Or even a GTB1756 RE: Colin McSamass - samass - 15-07-2013 What have I told you about asking silly questions ruan? I'll need something for when the gt1749v breaks RE: Colin McSamass - Fooby - 15-07-2013 What, like an engine? RE: Colin McSamass - Grant - 15-07-2013 Or a miracle... |
