RE: Fitted my front mount - mikey b - 13-07-2013

Na it's a focus intercooler mica and cheap £16 pound on eBay and few bits of exhaust and won a cheap pipe kit on eBay for £19 and I make the top hat adapters that jimbo on here sells so I thort I would use 1 me self lol

RE: Fitted my front mount - Jimbo - 13-07-2013

Maybe small but the core is very deep

Fitted my front mount - Sambarker - 13-07-2013

Seems a long way round for the turbo pipe to go surely it would have been better routing it round the other side of the radiator?

RE: Fitted my front mount - Jimbo - 13-07-2013

There's not room on a ph1 unless u fit a phase 2 rad

RE: Fitted my front mount - mikey b - 13-07-2013

Yer was gonna go that route but its only temp will prob go that way if I get a bigger one when the money allows me the funds all abit tight at the mo if ya know what I mean lol but the core is very deep on them so will c how it goes but not bad for about £40 in total

RE: Fitted my front mount - underground375 - 13-07-2013

I was putting my new door cards on today and the card its self was so close to melting in this sun :O, Ever fort of putting a twin pass on like I did? That way you can just run the 2 pipes threw the passenger side of the rad and loose some length of piping?

RE: Fitted my front mount - mikey b - 13-07-2013

Might buy one when get payed they lot easier to fit just need to find one cheap they bit pricey the ones I found on eBay

RE: Fitted my front mount - underground375 - 13-07-2013

I was lucky to get mine as part of the kit off a form member, but I still payed £120 with postage.

RE: Fitted my front mount - ginge191 - 18-07-2013

lovely little cooler; ideal size IMO for stock turbo; quite a long route; any chance it would mount infront of the battery (above the old air intake box?) and work on some cooling for it. would reduce some of the lag.
top work anywho! Smile

RE: Fitted my front mount - mikey b - 18-07-2013

Yep I spec you could mount it there prob gonna fit a bigger one after fcs was just sort of playing at the week end surprising what ya can achieve with no money few bits of pipe and a welder lol just got to find time to clean it now before the show
