What sort of paint would u need to spray an intercooler? Considering its metal and has a very shiney surface?

Would hammerite be the best bet?

Montana Gold acrylic spray paint. Because when it inevitably chips you can batter more paint on top. No primer, no fuss

Its been suggested to me that u can use acrylic engine thermo paint? What sort of prep before using acrylic paint? The scouring pad first sounds quite a good plan.
