Cars going for mot next week and my air bag light is on. Will it pass?

Well it shouldn't but depends what the tester is like

RE: mot air bag light - cully - 03-07-2013

no it wont pass unless you buy the tester a beer

RE: mot air bag light - Piggy - 03-07-2013

just link it to another light that comes on and goes off with ignition!

RE: mot air bag light - kingy - 03-07-2013

4 cans of Belgiums finest and 20 bensons silver it is then.

Do you have any idea why its on? After market steering wheel? Cuz its usally just the wires under the seats that play up

Got to be under the seat. Standered everything just cba to sort it

Just disconnect and reconnect the connections under the seat. Worth a try for the 2 mins it takes

RE: mot air bag light - 306Puggy - 03-07-2013

Also try disconnecting the airbag control unit and then reconnecting it. This worked for me on an XUD, don't know what model your car is though.

Thanks for the advice. Will try that.

go with the under seat opt first....as you dont have to remove anything for that.

and I would take off connection from battery too
