Lowering - Mike Southy - 01-07-2013 Hi guys, I've just been offered a set of 60mm lowering springs pretty cheap. Is 60mm too low? Not sure how it would look. Thanks ![]() RE: Lowering - Piggy - 01-07-2013 well if you want to lower you car only by 30/40mm then yes it will be too low. however if you are wanting to lower you car by 80mm then its not far enough Re: RE: Lowering - THE_Liam - 01-07-2013 (01-07-2013, 11:57 AM)Piggy Wrote: well if you want to lower you car only by 30/40mm then yes it will be too low. Sarcastic bastard! Theres 306s down further than 60mm mate, thats pretty common actually, can't see you having many issues... RE: Lowering - WiNgNuTz - 01-07-2013 60mm is how much mines lowered by (at the front anyway, backs still standard at the moment, hopefully tackling that soon!), and its just right. ![]() RE: Lowering - kingy - 01-07-2013 60mm is about right imo. Just a matter of opinion and what your taste is. Re: Lowering - kentiiboii - 01-07-2013 Depends what size wheels you have. I have 17s and cant imagin going much lower than 60mm on front. Where as if you have 15s you have plenty of room RE: Lowering - Piggy - 01-07-2013 that can depend on tyre size/profile though. a low profile on 17s could be same outer diameter as 15s with large profile tyres! RE: Lowering - Darren123 - 02-07-2013 60mm is perfect imo ![]() ![]() RE: Lowering - Grant - 02-07-2013 Mines down about 60mm. Only time I encounter problems is with the lower brace on when tackling cushion speed bumps. RE: Lowering - Mike Southy - 02-07-2013 Awesome, that's good to here, thanks guys ![]() |
