For sale
One 2amp fused 2.2ohm Resistor
soldered with fly leads all sealed with heatshrink
can be used for Diagnostics on Airbag systems
or to fool Airbag Ecu into thinking removed bags are present
maybe
youve replaced seats with sports seats and harnesses or replaced standard steering wheel with aftermarket
with the help of this it can defeat the pesky airbag light
one resistor is needed for each removed airbag or pretensioner
it will only work on a working system
It will not work on a system that has logged crash damage and activated
Please be sure this is the correct value resistance for your system
I am not guaranteeing these will work on your car,
i offer no guarantee, or hold no responsibility of damage caused by yourself too yourself or to your car by fitting these
Working on airbag systems can be dangerous
FOLLOW MANUFACTURER PROCEDURES
you are buying
one fused 2amp 2.2ohm Resistor with soldered wire connections
Latest batches of these have bare wire ends, Not the soldered ends

So these just plug into the orange airbag plug? any images of these plugged in? just to get an idea of length and how/where i'd need to sto away the excess

RE: airbag resistors - cully - 25-06-2013

most would cut the plug off and crimp the resistor to the wires

Would it okay to tuck behind the cowling without it catching on anything for steering wheel airbag?
