Course not pellowe i wanted to use a tiny one and dramatically restrict my engine to save fuel

The diameter of the throttle plate is 60mm on a GTi6 compared with 45mm on an XSi as seen in this picture

Same basic throttle body is used on the early v6 afaik
Doesn't hurt to have it opened up a bit I have one one on mine and must say it feels better for it
