Needs a remap desperately, or anything!! RE: viva la red turd - Jonny81191 - 16-06-2013 What ECU number is it? Looks good, always liked cherry red RE: viva la red turd - puglove - 16-06-2013 Umm I don't think that's a hdi Dturbo mate..... they were only available in 3 door, what seats you got in that, they don't look leather RE: viva la red turd - Stephen - 16-06-2013 Is that Dturbo badge on the side non standard? RE: viva la red turd - Curt - 16-06-2013 Not true Jamie, they were available in both, just rarer. Looks good though, Cherry is a pretty rare colour too RE: viva la red turd - puglove - 16-06-2013 (16-06-2013, 10:00 PM)Curt Wrote: Not true Jamie, they were available in both, just rarer. Really? iv never heard of or seen a 5 door HDI , Need a pic of the bit on the logo book to prove it! Meh it checks out on the HPI checker, the first one iv seen in all my years of 306's RE: viva la red turd - Toms306 - 16-06-2013 Curts right, Jamie. All 3 door HDi's are DTurbos. But not not all HDi DTurbo's are 3 doors. When they were new I guess people would prefer the comfort option of the meridian if they were buying a 5 door, or the cheapness of the LX, which is why they're aren't many 5 door DTurbo's about now. RE: viva la red turd - puglove - 16-06-2013 So im guessing the springs, shocks,ARB's,TB's are all "GTI" spec'd on this like the Dturbo then? RE: viva la red turd - Toms306 - 16-06-2013 (16-06-2013, 10:07 PM)puglove Wrote: So im guessing the springs, shocks,ARB's,TB's are all "GTI" spec'd on this like the Dturbo then? Yep that's right. Also would've come on cyclones and had the 3 spoke wheel and cloth sports seats too. Where Meridians/GLX/LX didn't. RE: viva la red turd - Toms306 - 16-06-2013 Ok I was wrong about the wheel then lol, but the rest I was right about haha! RE: viva la red turd - puglove - 17-06-2013 Lol tom ..... Thats pretty cool though. Thid must be worth like £4k then according to the rallye boys then! Alot rarer RE: viva la red turd - vento85 - 18-06-2013 They made 5dr version of the Dturbo for sure. I just checked and it shows the following: Vehicle details found: RED, 2000 PEUGEOT 306 D TURBO HDI 5 DOOR HATCHBACK RE: viva la red turd - mitsirfishi - 18-06-2013 (16-06-2013, 09:57 PM)Jonny81191 Wrote: What ECU number is it? Not the easist of angles taken with my S4 RE: viva la red turd - mitsirfishi - 22-06-2013 Right just a small update Ive got my KWP2000 but the bloody thing hasn't been working so in the process of waiting for the knobber to hopefully send a new unit out while I wait for that Been on the scavenge for some parts for the intercooler 406 hdi 110 inlet with lol flange ill either make a flange up or just grind her down And managed to find the hdi bottom pipe im hoping this is the right one been doing lots of reading through threads and the pictures match up Next will be some intercooler piping and a twinpass intercooler In the near future with a stage 1 map I think things will start to progress forward In peoples opinion what is the best/optimal and not a biatch to fit 2.25" or 2.5 Any input be much appreciated Night peeps RE: viva la red turd - ozonehostile - 22-06-2013 cant recall ever seeing a cherry red hdi before, got a lot of potential there mate RE: viva la red turd - Piggy - 22-06-2013 I luuuurv cherry red. Looks epic. Need to sort out that offside headlight though! RE: viva la red turd - Poodle - 22-06-2013 You'll struggle to get anything bigger than 2.25" to fit, unless you're making some radical changes to your engine bay. Besides, its not like the bigger piping would bring any benefits. I used 2' piping and id say thats probably enough and very easy to route up RE: viva la red turd - Piggy - 22-06-2013 It would depend on the turbo... but on a std turbo, 2" would be fine, no more than 2.25" RE: viva la red turd - Poodle - 22-06-2013 (22-06-2013, 07:03 AM)Jimbo Wrote: Just more lag surely. If nothing else, think of the physics - why would you need 2.5" piping on the intake when you've only got 2.5" on the exhaust lol. Have a look at the boost piping on something like a 330d, they make power well over anything i've seen on here, but I don't remember seeing 3" pipes everywhere. RE: viva la red turd - mitsirfishi - 24-08-2013 Hi guys thread update Its been a long past couple of days Me, and Dave and a friend have been busy the past couple of days getting my fmic fitted Can't thank the dirty Diesel ginge enough for the big effort he helped me with Thanks to a forum buy from luke and also got some lowering springs so she will have some pictures of her lowered probably tommorow once ive done the back end aswell So here is a few snaps of whats been cracking Also a couple of weeks ago purchased some black cyclones as some big ass lorry put me a ditch and this was the end result Black clones Twin pass cooler Rough idea of how the piping mostly goes together If Carlsberg did gaskets they would be the best in the world it didnt seal at first because i forgot to apply my silcon both sides like a tool and had abit of whistling lol Boost nipple put in place so can take boost readings Bottom brackets all made up and all piping in place Finished article I think a good 8-10hr job hardest part was getting the stock turbo pipes off they where a right biatch but cans of monster of chips helped us push forward There is a little more lag but feels more torquey even though im on a standard map until i get my stage 2 maps in the next few days Boosting 10psi its holding but spikes upto about 12-12.5 tops Also got some 2.5" steel from my local zorst supplier to have a 2.5" turbo back with a oval exhaust as prefence of choice and replicate it off the system i have at the moment but that is something that is happening in the next few weeks. Ill keep you posted peeps Peace Out Karl RE: viva la red turd - Piggy - 25-08-2013 black clones ♥ love em RE: viva la red turd - Dum-Dum - 25-08-2013 12psi is probably a slight leak but she's looking good RE: viva la red turd - Jimbo - 25-08-2013 I like how the cooler fits behind a ph3 bumper so well. Alot less room than on a ph1 I think Top work |
