Standard Oil Cooling - silverzx - 14-06-2013 I'm guessing the two pipes coming from the oil filter housing location is passive cooling using the coolant of the engine? Mines been disconnected on the 205 since I bought it and thought I best check it out! RE: Standard Oil Cooling - Ruan - 14-06-2013 Yeah it's the oil cooler/warmer... Setup changes on engines where it's fed from, some are fed from the bypass pipe from the thermostat, others are fed from the distro block on the back of the block... RE: Standard Oil Cooling - silverzx - 15-06-2013 Thanks for that, so is it much of a muchness or? RE: Standard Oil Cooling - ginge191 - 15-06-2013 It works quite well as it circulates with the rad system. I've disconnected mine also as the piping was a PITA. If you've got the space, plumb it in.
