Anyone running a red Powerflex Lower Engine Mount - Tom85 - 12-06-2013
Hi all
I've got HDI turbo with a rather worn lower engine mount - just wondering if anyone has fitted the red diesel version powerflex engine mount

What's it like vibration wise? Much different to standard? I've heard the yellow petrol powerflex is rather bad for vibrations!

It's a softer compound apparently designed for diesels - supposed to reduce vibrations compared to their normal yellow one for petrols

yeah I putting a red one in mine...
friend has a yellow one on her xud and its deafening inside at idle

Got the red one on mine and its fine, nothing noticable on idle, mines on a xud which is no where near as smooth running as a hdi, go for it

Obviously mines the yellow petrol one...because i drive a petrol....but i highly recommend them! Barely any increase in vibration and gear changes are much much smoother. Best of both worlds imo!

Thanks guys. I've got one and going to fit it at the weekend, it's got to be better than my current one which is very worn! Will report how it goes.
