RE: WANT WANT WANT - Jonny81191 - 05-06-2013

Start with a budget of many many monies. No. More than that. A bit more.. Yeah, a LOT.

RE: WANT WANT WANT - Niall - 05-06-2013

You can build them easily. All the parts are available from Peugeot Sport France. Will cost you about 300k mind.

RE: WANT WANT WANT - cwspellowe - 05-06-2013

Think of a number you consider reasonable for building a 9krpm NA S16 engine. Then quadruple it and you're about there.

WANT WANT WANT - callumcull - 05-06-2013

Oh, looks/sounds f*cking ace though!

RE: WANT WANT WANT - Birk - 05-06-2013

75k would get you a maxi.

WANT WANT WANT - callumcull - 05-06-2013

Is it easy enough to at least make the bodywork look that good?

RE: WANT WANT WANT - Birk - 05-06-2013

You mean like this [Image: 3921e53c.jpg]

WANT WANT WANT - callumcull - 05-06-2013

YES!!

RE: WANT WANT WANT - silverzx - 06-06-2013

What beam did they use on this?

RE: WANT WANT WANT - Grant - 06-06-2013

Standard beam with BFO offset wheels.

WANT WANT WANT - callumcull - 06-06-2013

How can I get those body panels? I want mine to look this good

RE: WANT WANT WANT - Midnightclub - 06-06-2013

Providing it looked like this:

and not this:

It'd look good

Either buy a Dimma 306, or buy the panels from Dimma.

RE: WANT WANT WANT - puglove - 06-06-2013

Im assuming you know nothing about dimmas so....

BIRKs one (the astor grey one above) lef the factory like looking likr that, ph1 only with a s16 engine . And are quite rare. They demand a high price tag even a taty one in need of a resto. A minter ...... Well ALOT of money.

Now dimma (who made the factory road spec'd ones i.e birks) reproduced a fibre glass replica kit (the orginals being metal) they still supplie these along with the wide tracking kit for around 4k odd IIRC < some one will correct me. Plus you need it fittin and sprayed. If your going to do it dimma is the only way dont be tempted by other cheaper fake dimma kits. They are not the same . I.E like the blue one above and you will just be laughed off the forum like waynerz.

Hope that helps

RE: WANT WANT WANT - Birk - 06-06-2013

8k fully fitted with wide track kit and paint Smile

Plus what ever the original price tag of the car, which iirc was around 18k

RE: WANT WANT WANT - Midnightclub - 06-06-2013

RE: WANT WANT WANT - Ed Doe - 06-06-2013

Man, his 'exaulsts' just make me froth at the gash...

WANT WANT WANT - callumcull - 06-06-2013

WANT WANT WANT - callumcull - 06-06-2013

I wonder what he was thinking when he put that many exhausts on it. I wonder about some people's tastes in stuff, but everyone to their own I guess.... Within reason

RE: WANT WANT WANT - Piggy - 06-06-2013

RE: WANT WANT WANT - Midnightclub - 06-06-2013

not sure if the rally cars did but the dimmas dont the use the same beam as the rest

RE: WANT WANT WANT - Grant - 03-10-2013

Springs' cabby had mahoooosive offset wheels. When I say mahoooosive i mean you could stash a family of badgers in the things!

Springs car wasnt a proper dimma though. It had about 3 genuine dimma panels on it and thats it. A proper dimma does have a different rear beam.
