When we changed some server files for stability and optimisation, one of the problems was that avatars broke temporarily, but we fixed them as soon as we noticed they weren't working. Avatars should be working fine now. Tacha your problem looks like a broken URL (I'm guessing you tried to upload an avatar through the 'url' function). Could you post a link to the avatar you are trying to use and I'll take a look into it for you?

Ah yeah, the image is too big (plus the link probably wasn't actually for the physical image, just to the photo page). I'll resize it for you later on and upload it, although maybe someone else will be kind enough later and do it for you
