a lowered 306 makes a focus look massive haha

God the focus looks awfull, what a lump of lard compared to the nimble 306 win!

Cool pics. I like that shape of Focus, the Mk1 facelift looks so much better than the original.

RE: Went for a leisurely cruise, naturally the DSLR came too ;) - C.A.R. - 04-06-2013

The MK1 Focus handles better than any 306 I've ever had. Much more predictable, just as keen to turn-in. In fact it was almost as good as the Celica in many respects.

The problem is more-
How it looks
The seating position
How it looks
The engine
Sloppy gearchange
How it looks

They're incredibly practical, comfortable cars however and a great all-rounder. Just not something I enjoyed driving every day, and mine never got a second-glance.

Whereas the Pug, I think looks great. Still has one of the best driving positions / visibility from any car I've driven and the playful handling makes it much more fun when you drive it like a hooligan.

Guess its my turn to speak again :p Not many pics of mine because i have loads of my car and my mate has hardly any of his so i figured he'd appreciate it, which he did, so browny points to me there Smile

I personally really like the focus, this one anyway, it has this really awesome kick when it comes "on cam", i think thats what its called anyway. Its a pretty quick car to really, fairly well matched against me, neither can catch up nor do we fall behind.

And believe it or not the the focus is actually lowered 30mm!

Focarse looks shite, but 306 looks sweet

RE: Went for a leisurely cruise, naturally the DSLR came too ;) - Eeyore - 09-06-2013

I quite like st170, although it does look a surprisingly bloated standing side by side with the 306 lol

Tom, considered wacking some spacers on the rear? I was thinking trying some 10mm on the rear, just to fill the arch a bit more
