The AC thread - puglove - 22-05-2013 Out of interest/bordum whos how many 306s do we have on here with working Air con???? /pointless thread RE: The AC thread - Dum-Dum - 22-05-2013 Ive had 2 with it fitted and working and 2 with it fitted but not working but all the rest have been non AC The AC thread - Jukie88 - 22-05-2013 Mine works :-) ........just RE: The AC thread - bigcheez2k3 - 22-05-2013 The button works...I just don't have any of it in there still. RE: The AC thread - THE_Liam - 22-05-2013 Mine doesn't have it which is weird because I thought all phase 2 DTs did? RE: The AC thread - Toms306 - 22-05-2013 In 2 of my 1.4s it was working after a regas......I didn't use it though as it uses too much fuel. In one Golf it worked for about a day, probably woulda worked if I'd regassed it, in the other it didn't at all. In the Vectra it works but isn't particularly cold, but has already been regassed twice in 6 years. Air con is just a con tbh, it only seems to work well in new cars lol, nearly have to defrost the inside of the windscreen with the AC on in mum's Swift. But I prefer 'eco' climate to air con anyway, when it just uses fan speed to control the temp, doesn't waste fuel and doesn't bring on those brain freeze kinda headaches. Sunroof OR AC usually tbh, don't often get both unless they were chosen when it was made. RE: The AC thread - r3k1355 - 22-05-2013 My button lights up but all the gubbins have been removed by the previous owner. I can pretend tho. RE: The AC thread - Ed Doe - 22-05-2013 Mine works RE: The AC thread - THE_Liam - 22-05-2013 (22-05-2013, 03:00 PM)Toms306 Wrote: Sunroof OR AC usually tbh, don't often get both unless they were chosen when it was made. Ah that must be it then, I have a sunroof. Couldn't give a f*ck really, even if it works you only use it a couple of weeks a year, and even then it's not really necessary. If you live in Arizona fair enough but West Yorkshire? Nah, sod it. RE: The AC thread - aaronshort - 22-05-2013 I tell my family it works to make them jealous i have AC at 18 But it doesnt work and i would only use it to demist anyway cause aircon dries my eyes out a gooden, i hate it RE: The AC thread - Slam Wagon - 22-05-2013 Took mine out, which do i choose? To be fair, it might work, it just isn't fitted... RE: The AC thread - Jonny81191 - 22-05-2013 It did work. Really well actually. RE: The AC thread - Poodle - 22-05-2013 Had 3 with aircon, none of them worked. My current one has a receipt for work done to fix the aircon for every year since it left the forecourt, most of them running well into triple figures LOL! RE: The AC thread - fuziduck - 22-05-2013 It worked on my old 306 after repairing it, infact it still works 3 years later!! RE: The AC thread - cpikey316_ - 22-05-2013 I love mine, its awesome. I just let the Saab CC decide when it should be on. I dont have a peugeot though!! RE: The AC thread - cully - 22-05-2013 my hdi aircon works and its excellent GTi6 has aircon but i cut the condensor rad out as it was well, not much left of it Re: The AC thread - rocker8742 - 22-05-2013 Mine works perfectly RE: The AC thread - r3k1355 - 22-05-2013 My MX-5 came with AC (not working) I'm wondering about getting it re-gassed, I just wanna know if it works. RE: The AC thread - Mitch - 22-05-2013 Mine doesnt work, must be something to do with the big hole in the condenser RE: The AC thread - Toms306 - 22-05-2013 (22-05-2013, 06:04 PM)r3k1355 Wrote: My MX-5 came with AC (not working) Won't lose anything if it doesn't work anyway as they leak test the system first usually. RE: The AC thread - londondan86 - 22-05-2013 Mines all been stripped out so I'm non ac. RE: The AC thread - Ruan - 22-05-2013 Does it bollocks. RE: The AC thread - Curt - 22-05-2013 (22-05-2013, 06:04 PM)r3k1355 Wrote: My MX-5 came with AC (not working) Same. I'm curious if all it will take is a re-gas... but it'll most likely be removed for running intercooler pipework. None of my 306's have had air con.
