Break wear sensors - Toast - 19-05-2013 Hi guys looking to change front break pads on my 306 but dont know weather I neee pads with or without wear sensors. How do I find out? RE: Break wear sensors - Niall - 19-05-2013 Have a look on top of the hub. There is a rubber connector with two holes for two bullet connectors. If you have this, you have pad wear sensors. Tbh id just not worry and just get non sensor pads. Wont make a blind bit of difference! Re: Break wear sensors - Toast - 19-05-2013 Will it not display as a warning light on the dash without them though? RE: Break wear sensors - Niall - 19-05-2013 Nope. Ive cut mine off and no lights at all RE: Break wear sensors - Connor - 19-05-2013 It brings the warning light on when the pads had worn down, wear through the wire, which completes the circuit through the disc. So if you rip the wires off, they can't complete the circuit and can't bring the light on |
