Interior Retrimming - Scott - 09-05-2013

There's a huge tear in the base of my driver's seat and also in the driver's bolster, does anyone have anywhere they would recommend to get the seat retrimmed? Also roughly how much would I be looking at for just the one seat? The passenger and rear seats are in very good condition.

Cheers Smile

Take some decent pictures and post them up, If you can remove the cover yourself and post it to me, I'll do it providing I can source the cloth.

i got quoted £140 to do bolster & base inc materials :/

RE: Interior Retrimming - Scott - 09-05-2013

Jonny I might be able to remove it from the seat ahead of ppc and bring it with me? I'll get in touch and we can sort out costs Smile

Cheers for the help everyone else on estimates

Ok mate, that'd be great as ideally i'd get samples to match and it'd help having the cloth there.

RE: Interior Retrimming - Scott - 09-05-2013

Would you need the other seats there to compare? Or just the cover for the drivers seat?

Next question, how easy is it to remove the seat covers lol

RE: Interior Retrimming - Jonny81191 - 09-05-2013

Just the drivers seat.

Not too bad, just be patient with them, and get some decent long nose pliers to get the hog rings out, I've found the best way is to just grab one bit of it with the pliers and twist till it comes off, then putting them back together I use cable ties, it's easier and quicker.
