Stupid question thread - Jukie88 - 07-05-2013

How would I make et45 wheels for my pug, sorry for being abit stupid with this question but would I need spacers and if so how big ??

Stupid question thread - Jonny b - 07-05-2013

Fecking big spacers lol

RE: Stupid question thread - Ruan - 07-05-2013

Very fooking big spacers!!!

If they were the same width as cyclones, theyd need 30mm spacers to fit!!

RE: Stupid question thread - puglove - 07-05-2013

UHHHHH just don't!!

Or if you do make sure you get the type that bolt to the hub then bolt the wheel to the spacer type jobbys

Also if your trying to get a stanced look (as you were before so guessing this is still the case) 45mm spacers Tongue

Stupid question thread - Jukie88 - 07-05-2013

Hmmmm those seem like some big ass spacers sod that might find another set of alloys with a smaller ET

RE: Stupid question thread - Dum-Dum - 07-05-2013

Cyclone offset is ET18, smaller wheels are ET20-24, its measured in MM so should give you an idea.

There ET16. At least im pretty sure mine are stamped ET16!

RE: Stupid question thread - Scott - 07-05-2013

Well either way, a 306 has ET15-18 wheels as standard, so you're looking at a 30mm spacer in order to fit the wheels at the correct offset.

RE: Stupid question thread - Toms306 - 07-05-2013

What do they come off with such a tiny offset lol?

RE: Stupid question thread - Scott - 07-05-2013

You could also ask why Fords came with such a large offset Smile

Stupid question thread - Jukie88 - 07-05-2013

Wait....there are 'other' car manufacturers? Confused

But seriously, I just thought there was like an 'average' of 20ish, maybe I'm completely wrong with that then. lol

Interesting idea Smile Could be worth looking into a stud and nut conversion for them? You might get lucky and be able to run them with a 20mm spacer with a bit of arch work.

wrong way round isnt that Scott? 20mm and they would be well in the arch?

You could get them and run 30mm spacers but spacers do get quite expensive. You want 30mm bolt on not the 30mm extended nut ones.

Pfft, 30mm is nothing, ask Ecosse Wink

I say go for it with the wheels. Something different, f*ck normal.

Stupid question thread - Jukie88 - 08-05-2013

The wheels are already 4x108 all or most old skool audis are it's just 30mm to mee seems abit excessive Undecided I'll also need spigot rings as the centre bore is 66.3

RE: Stupid question thread - puglove - 09-05-2013
