Great driving roads - lewisdmz - 06-05-2013

What do you guys think about creating a thread 'library' of great driving roads? Will be useful for locals and people on holidays.

Format could be something like this example:

Area of the country: Devon
Road name: A386
Google maps route link: blahlah
Notes: Quietest in the evenings, be extra cautious for cyclists, good spot for photos about half way.

Notes section could be an area to warn people of any potential hazards/known spots for speed guns etc.

Just an idea but I thought if it takes off it could be made a sticky?

Some awesome roads round here down south

Everyone knows wales and lake district is pretty awesome too
