I've just bought a HDi and the person I bought it off was telling me that the water pump was making a lot of noise. I done some investigation yesterday, took the aux belt off, started the engine and the noise had stopped. The tensioner feels rough and sounds dry when turning it by hand so I think it must be the problem. RE: Aux belt routing - DeeTurbo - 12-05-2013 You could try a bit of WD40 on it and it should go quiet for a bit just to confirm it's the right one. RE: Aux belt routing - West - 12-05-2013 I'lll get the DW40 out after the Spanish Grand Prix hah. |
