Just quickly has anyone got a diagram for routing the aux belt?

306 hdi dturbo with a/c

Could any of you point me in the right direction with regards to purchasing a manual tensioner? I'm stumped Google and eBay isn't throwing much up.

yes they are that expensive i bought one recently for the state as it had a noisey one

Yeah that looks like the one. I've just bought a HDi and the person I bought it off was telling me that the water pump was making a lot of noise. I done some investigation yesterday, took the aux belt off, started the engine and the noise had stopped. The tensioner feels rough and sounds dry when turning it by hand so I think it must be the problem.

You could try a bit of WD40 on it and it should go quiet for a bit just to confirm it's the right one.
