Bhp figures - Jukie88 - 29-04-2013

Anyone have the Bhp figures of every 306 from 1.4 upto the gti ?? Just interested in what they all produce through the range ??

RE: Bhp figures - Mattcheese31 - 29-04-2013

1.4 is 75bhp . . . . . . .Gti is 167 bhp iirc, everything else is inbetween except high blow Dervs that win at everything . .lol

Bhp figures - Frosty - 29-04-2013

1.4 are 75bhp

1.6 are 90bhp

1.9 d turbo are 90/92bhp

2 hdi are 90bhp

S16 are 155bhp

Gti6 are 167bhp

That's all the 1s I know and I think there right but I could be wrong

RE: Bhp figures - Anton - 29-04-2013

1.8 are 112bhp i think

2.0 xsi 134bhp?

RE: Bhp figures - Mattcheese31 - 29-04-2013

there are 2 1.6 engines as well one is 90bhp and the other is 99bhp . . .

RE: Bhp figures - Dum-Dum - 29-04-2013

2.0 16v is 135bhp and the 2.0 8v is 123bhp.

The XUD is 90bhp with a cat and 92bhp without.

It's widely reckoned that Peugeot over quoted the power of the GTi6 and under quoted the XSi to make it look like there was a bigger gap in performance and also to get the XSi into a lower insurance group.

^^^ That sounds right. Peugoet are funny with their figures. Don't know if the still do, but always used to test with a full tank and passengers to, whereas other manufacturers used to keep kerb weight to a minimum.

Awesome just looking at getting a cabby next and there are some 2.0 that say 120 bhp and some that say 130 just wondering what was what

RE: Bhp figures - Ruan - 29-04-2013

Early 2.0 8vs will be ~122hp, the 2.0 16v is 134hp ish...

Is that Flywheel HP or Rear Wheel HP...

Because I heard that the Mrs Spunky 1012hp stage 168109851938.275681 remap also turns it rear wheel drive?

RE: Bhp figures - C.A.R. - 30-04-2013

3 wheel drive mate, horsepower measured via the cigarette lighter socket.

RE: Bhp figures - Ruan - 30-04-2013

Ahh right, I get ya!

That must be the Unprofessional_Bob Stage 120918501885.9481772 remap. Gotta be careful with that one, I heard all the extra pwoerszz chews up crank pulleys.

true dat

RE: Bhp figures - cwspellowe - 02-05-2013

Well a quick Google turns up some interesting results

306 (all engines) Pre-96 not enough bhp
306 (all engines except 2.0 16v 167) not enough bhp
306 (2.0 16v 167) definitely not enough bhp
