Decat problems - Steve922 - 28-04-2013

Sorry for another thread on this topic but i can not find a answer to my problem. After much debate on doing this, i decided to go ahead so been and a bought a decat pipe and 2 middle sections (one to replace the back box). got under the car and went to remove the 2 10mm bolts from the cat pipe but they dont seem to come off, they just keep turning round Angry, so am i missing something? plz help

Seen the proper studs replaced with a nut and bolt arrangement before, could be you need a spanner/socket on the other end.

RE: Decat problems - Steve922 - 28-04-2013

ive tried this but a spanner does not fit the other end of the stud, the stud does not turn but the nut just turns without coming off if that makes sense Sad

Cut it off then, new fitting kit is only £8 from your local motor factors.

You might need a crank spanner to get on the bolt properly
