RE: Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM - Dum-Dum - 11-08-2015 f*cking hell mate, that could of been nasty. I'm always really worried about dropping my grinder. RE: Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM - bashbarnard - 11-08-2015 Dude your lucky. My grinder slipped on me last week and exploded the cutting disc inchs from my face. I got the tinyest of scratch's on my arm. Yet when i accidentally tapped a disc with my hand. Blood everywhere RE: Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM - cully - 11-08-2015 the rustiness has gone looks a lot better! I am not gona do the whole bay just the chassis legs and the corner sections where water pools ironicly i need a part that i have sold off the scrapper which is not in stock at Peugeot and is on back order my local peugeot was good enough to do a dealer search and found one in the country at Scarborough so a phone call later i bought it and they are sending it by post item i wanted was the gear linkage boomerang with the ball mine the ball was cracked and loose RE: Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM - Dum-Dum - 11-08-2015 She's looking good mate. Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM - rocker8742 - 12-08-2015 Didn't grease mine when I changed it on the 6 and never had an issue with it RE: Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM - cully - 13-08-2015 parts for my oil pressure early warning have turned up oil pressure gauge an adjustable pressure switch with a remote adaptor so I can utilise the second block oil way tapping RE: Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM - cully - 13-08-2015 clutch cables are easy to change with the engine out RE: Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM - cully - 18-08-2015 with the new engine i will be fitting an oil pressure gauge and an early warning light set for around 20psi not the std 5 psi which warns when its too late so ive bought a pressure gauge and a seperate pressure switch which i will be building into a two pod gauge holder oil light will have a volt meter in the same pod custom pod first mock up anyway ive just seen the post for expo so thought it a good goal for the new engine so this has happened in the last hour! its a little early to celebrate but its on its mounts RE: Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM - cully - 22-08-2015 Home made gortex PTFE butterfly gasket slurp anyone home! slowly getting there unfortunately thunder lightning and rain stopped play RE: Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM - ozonehostile - 22-08-2015 Clean engine and bay transforms a car. I got on far enough to put fluids in and so i was itching to start it first off i removed the fuel relay and turned over the engine till i had oil pressure just to give the engine a fighting chance even though it was built up with assembly lube anyway fitted the fuel relay primed the system a couple of times checked for feul leaks then turned it over.... the thing only went and started first turn and i even forgot to plug in the cam sensor ignor the rattly old diesel i jump started her from RE: Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM - bashbarnard - 23-08-2015 Yaah. For some reason this motor is only one of the few petrol ones i follow on here. No idea why. Good to see the motors properly driving though. RE: Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM With ADDED OIL LEAK! - cully - 31-08-2015 Last few bits were put on earlier ive got fed up with the plastic snap rivets on the front grill so ive replaced them with Rivnuts so now I can unbolt it easier finished off with a wash and quick polish ready for tomorrow Being Taxed and out on the road. first trip will be to Peugeot to get some Hockystick clips I have not connected the oil cooler although it is fitted, reason being it is empty and clean of oil, I don't want to be running my running in oil through the cooler as I wont be able to drain it fully, once ive done 3-400 miles running in, i will be putting better quality oil in it with the cooler RE: Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM With ADDED OIL LEAK! - Piggy - 31-08-2015 Is it just the video or is there a whine!? RE: Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM Back on the road! - cully - 31-08-2015 ok if the cambelt is too tight how to gauge tightness is correct without a gauge? Experience :p On the longest run, the belt should twist no more than 90 degrees RE: Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM Back on the road! - cully - 31-08-2015 its at 45 degrees now ? RE: Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM Back on the road! - Jonny81191 - 31-08-2015 (31-08-2015, 04:17 PM)cully Wrote: its at 45 degrees now ? Yeah, that's way too tight. Slacken it off until you can twist it to 90 degrees. RE: Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM Back on the road! - Piggy - 31-08-2015 (31-08-2015, 04:17 PM)cully Wrote: its at 45 degrees now ? Ah yeah thats the whine! As Niall said, twist 90 degrees at the middle point of the longest length between pulleys. Then do a couple rotations back to timing marks and check again |
