I might be braking mine Ben and I've just fitted a pair with no milage on them RE: Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM - cully - 14-04-2014 (14-04-2014, 04:18 PM)Ben Wrote: Cheers Cully I'll use some of them when I get round to changing them. you will need 2x 10mm 1.25 x 20 mm bolts for fixing the Bush to chassis Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM - devils_fuel - 14-04-2014 What do they feel like cully as my cars dead after fitting them, good upgrade? OK thanks, I'm going to have a look at my current P bushes at the weekend to see how urgently I need them. There's a dodgy knocking sound coming from that area and I'm suspecting them. Depends when you'll be braking as to whether I can wait.. (14-04-2014, 05:27 PM)cully Wrote:(14-04-2014, 04:18 PM)Ben Wrote: Cheers Cully I'll use some of them when I get round to changing them. Thanks Cully, luckily bolts won't be a problem there are plenty at work Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM - devils_fuel - 14-04-2014 Ben the car is not being broken now, just scrapped as I have nowhere to break it Annoyed as there's lots of good stuff on her RE: Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM - Ben - 14-04-2014 Shame it's come to scrapping it. Surely you can keep the most valuable parts you don't have to scrap the lot.. When Jake scrapped his we completely stripped it. Didn't even have a rear beam left the guy had to drag it onto his trailer! Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM - devils_fuel - 14-04-2014 It at zachs at the moment so no stripping there, then it's being brought to cheddar and no breaking can be done in my friends yard due to the council. Complete interior, alloys and the strut brace and a few other things will be removed, I really cannot be bothered with it any more - lost faith Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM - td_dan - 14-04-2014 ^^^^Pmd you mate RE: Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM - cully - 18-04-2014 had my little helper with me today he was helpfull between chillin with his tunzs [attachment=15555] had the opertunity to get the car on a ramp to check over befor the ring trip good job i did O/side front wheel bearing had play in it this is the bearing that was changed for last MOT not happy it didnt last 5k miles but was a good excuss to change to my nicely referbed 18mm front hubs [attachment=15556] am glad i did this now as when i went to change the N/side the bearing in there was dog rough so in all was a good job now the car has new 18mm b/J's and new front bearings just need to replace the O/side ABS sensor as it would not come out the old hub, have a spare in the garage so that for tomorrow now its CIDER time! RE: Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM - cully - 08-05-2014 as for top speed i think i hit 120mph on the long back straight but to be honest i was more interested in hanging on to the track and watching for faster cars behind than watching the speedo i didnt grab 6th on track but did use the full reves in 5th Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM - devils_fuel - 08-05-2014 FairPlay Paul, bet you loved thrashing it on a fantastic track Some nice cars on the track, that Lamborghini [HEAVY BLACK HEART]️ RE: Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM - cully - 08-05-2014 the cars on track were amazing if you had money you could hire them or be taken round in them you name it it was there! from Nobles to Mclarens to 306's the whole range the peugeot family wernt to well represented there though their newer cars must be poor track cars as there were very few newer peugeots anywhere in germany Re: Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM - kentiiboii - 08-05-2014 Should of paid to go in a 306, just for the irony Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM - devils_fuel - 08-05-2014 Should have gone around with jammapic's mate RE: Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM - RetroPug - 09-05-2014 (08-05-2014, 05:23 PM)cully Wrote: as for top speed i think i hit 120mph on the long back straight but to be honest i was more interested in hanging on to the track and watching for faster cars behind than watching the speedoThat sounds about right, I was somewhere around that in my ph.2. Car's looking really great from the photos...glad you had some taken! I only got snapped by one when I went! How did the car feel on track? Well-sorted? Considering doing the p-bush replacement you did. The ring is pretty much the ultimate test of a car's set-up. Considering doing the p-bush replacement you did. honest answer the car was like driving a plate of jelly on the std road tyres but as soon as i put on the yokos, the car was transformed into something else! it was steddy and stable into and out of the corners the car was a lot more enjoyable to drive at speed into and out of the corners but please rembember the car has stock dampers on the front (dont know the age) and new B4's on the back with std brakes all round if i were to go again to the ring the thing that let the car down was the Driver! not having knowlage of the circuit with circuit knowlage and a clear track the car is more than capable of a low sub10 min lap Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM - devils_fuel - 09-05-2014 Cully that's why everyone goes back year after to beat their last time . You did very well mate and the important thing was you had a hoot and the car survived RE: Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM - cully - 17-05-2014 to all the sceptics saying my welding would be crap and i wouldnt weld them square! remember these! [attachment=16318] well they are fitted! and they fitted easyer this time than the rubber mounts they replaced [attachment=16319] [attachment=16320] [attachment=16321] bring on castle coombe for a shake down and maybe a few backroad night runs round here Cully's Bianca 6 R150 YVM - devils_fuel - 18-05-2014 Looking good Paul, may need to protect the boot floor judging by the rust |
