Air box question - MIKE-FORD - 24-04-2013

Tryin to take the whole air filter box out to do bit of work bit don't wanna break anything, is there any bolts I should know bout hidden away holding it in?

RE: Air box question - Toms306 - 24-04-2013

You'll probably break the plastic clip things at the front of the box, they locate in a bracket under the slam panel.

Apart from that, there's just the nut (or is a bolt, cant remember) at the back of the airbox, coming from the battery box.

RE: Air box question - DeeTurbo - 24-04-2013

Nope, the whole thing is held by one nut at the back and two locating pins at the front.

Take care not to loose the captive bolt at the back when removing the box.

If you rotate forward then pull up you shouldn't break the plastic pins.

As DeeTurbo says.

Mike, no offence, but please tell me you're not drilling holes in it or something similarly daft..?
