Hi does anyone know where the fan switch for coolant temps is located on a hdi, had a look in the engine bay cant seem to find it ?

its located insise the ecu
ecu controls the fans relays

So there isn't a fan switch which i can bridge the fans to check the fan operation? I've tried bridging the pins on the a/c plug but got nothing my next guess is changing the relays and the fan ecu under the wheel arch then

unpluging the blue plug on the side of the head above the gearbox will bring on the fans and also log a fault code

I thought it was the bitron unit in the wheel arch that controlled the relays, the ECU doesnt actually control them...
