Front suspension - Tyronnster - 20-04-2013

Looking for help

Fitted new struts to my car yesterday however the rest cup seems to move when turning

Think it is number 2 on this pic

Any help

Thinking of just whipping the springs on my spare shocks/strut

Cheers

It should move.... Confused

RE: Front suspension - Tyronnster - 20-04-2013

Well it kinda clonks when doing a full turn but it has -30mm lowering spring on

Sorry sounding numb never changed struts before

RE: Front suspension - Toms306 - 20-04-2013

Did you replace the top mount bearing? Is the spring seated in its groove correctly?

RE: Front suspension - Tyronnster - 20-04-2013

No i never changed them thought would wing it but caught out lol, Going to have a look

RE: Front suspension - Cheese - 20-04-2013

Clunk when you turn normally indicates the spring isn't seated properly in either the top mount or strut.

Haha.....did you end up with BBs everywhere? Still keep finding those buggers on my drive and it was like 6 months ago when I changed them! Dodgy

And no problem, I can be helpful occasionally. Wink
