My car history.. - wil_Dtub - 03-02-2012

so i have had a few cars over the years.. 1st one was a mess passing my test in 2006 got myself a rather worn black Turbo with a matt black wing and general not great condition..

So i hit it with the southend stick...

not great...

then it got rotten and electrics went to pop so i bought a blue 3dr Dturbo with a blown engine a piston rings bouncing around inside the sump... pulled the engine out my black one and droped it in the blue..
Then of course.. hit it with the southend stick again and made a chav wagon
(do note i am far from a 'chav' in almost ever way...untill it comes to cars)

any way back to the car

Then we got the girlfriends car..started out a little rough aswell..

but in love

we had a nice little gang with my friends in the local area

then i got new wheels

and anna got a new exhaust and rear bumper

i got a pot of paint

went on with my Dturbo being a little boy racer with 8!! 6x9 and two great subs in the boot

then some new horns

and it just got worse

So then i sold my 306 and my wheels went on Anna's car untill i got my new 306 in search for a bit more noise went for an Xsi..

unfortunatly when i put my wheels on Anna's car she changed the locking wheel nuts and said i cant have them back Sad

they are still on there today..
got a stop gap car while my mate got a replacement for her 306 i was buying off her

when i got the car it look like this

so we got some leather for Anna's car aswell

then a new front bumper and side skirts for Anna's car

and i got rid off the headlights and powdered my wheels white

then a bad thing happened

so we got her all fixed up..was written off and we got paid out Â£1200 but fixed it for Â£400.. not to bad
then i put on some winter wheels and made a box to stop things moving in my boot..

then i got checkered and new wheels again

and it looked MEAN!!!

but it was such a clean and low car i got OCD about it and stopped wanting to drive it as every time i drove it i cleaned it..

so i sold it and went for a not so clean car..

and then moded this aswell

then i took it racing!!

But then i wanted rid of that.. and the family'ish company i work for was getting rid of the escort van i drive alot as it needed money.. so we combined the two.. hatch back car with 5 seats and a van.. what do you get?

then i got some big Duplex pipes and a fuel can on the back

havent got pic's on here but since then i have put spot lights on the roof bull bars on the front bonnet deflector and its looking rather mean..

and we still have the prov blue 306

thanks for looking.. will try get my new pics on photobucket of the truck soon and a vid of the noise it makes... over 120 DB i think diggers tested it at

Looking Urm good so far....... Haha nah they arnt so bad. Apart from that red lion on the rear window lol

I like the truck... and.... the black 306 when you got it but not too keen on the m3 mirrors and light brows (even if they are painted protectors) Big Grin

well the insurance company cant use 2nd hand parts so new bumper Â£300 paint it.. 1x hockenhiem alloy Â£190 ish new then powder coat all 4 so it matches Â£200..then new wing Â£100 probs and paint it.. then a couple of boring bent bits that hold the wheel on... they just figured they didnt want to do the work...

we spent Â£175 on bent bits then getting the damaged wheel welded and rubbed down and all four powder coated for Â£220 then new wing for Â£35 in the right colour and spent and hour tugging on the bracket holding the bumper on to line it back up and left the little cracks... then took it for a VIC test to make sure we didnt just stick the plates on a stolen car and they were happy.. and so were we Smile

well i didnt like the morretts when the lights are on as only the outer two light up and it looks naff.. thats why i went for the crystals.. and then angels after that.. the m3 mirrors i was never in as much love with but liked the indercators on them.. and before anyone mentions the spoiler i thought it looked cool as feck Tongue

and it had lights on it!!! lol
