Urgent: HDi fuel filter cap - vlj - 19-03-2013 Apparently I don't know my own strength, or I'm working with cheese - I'll leave you to decide. Anyway, plastic connector bit on the fuel filler cap snapped off and I need a replacement sent from someone today.. can't get to scrap yard or I'd pick one up from there.. Ive changed the filter loads of time on these and with a flat head screwdriver you can get these off really easy without putting any stress on it. RE: Urgent: HDi fuel filter cap - Jonny81191 - 21-03-2013 22mm socket to undo it, and two flat bladed screwdrivers to remove the pipes, gently lever it while pushing in the tab with the other screwdriver, that way it'll pop off as soon as you've released the tab and therefore you don't put too much stress on it.
