slim line fan - Piggy - 15-03-2013 what do most do about the original fan connection and triple relay when fitting a slim line fan??? ta for input RE: slim line fan - Piggy - 15-03-2013 no thoughts doods? RE: slim line fan - zx_volcane - 16-03-2013 im sure there are threads and wiring diagrams up on this already RE: slim line fan - Piggy - 16-03-2013 ok...I'll keep searching....I searched, obviously didnt input the right words! RE: slim line fan - zx_volcane - 16-03-2013 Well basically you are either going to wire it into existing loom (ie two wires) or make up your own circuit on a switch which was discussed here recently RE: slim line fan - Piggy - 16-03-2013 I want it on current circuit...auto... but its a single slim line...and theres two originally... thinking to just use the switched live...earth...via rad switch straight to the fan? just wondered if others had problems/wrong way to do it RE: slim line fan - Dum-Dum - 16-03-2013 Just use the wires that come from the tripple relays to run a fan or 2 depending on how many fans you had as standard. To test which is pos and neg pull the temp sender plug and bridge 2 of the pins and theyll start to spinn if they work then you can test them with a multimeter. RE: slim line fan - C2K - 16-03-2013 My mate wired my rallte up with twin slimlines as per haynes manual twin fan with rad switch. Made a custom loom that worked a treat. |
