what we think she's worth.

1999 HDI d-turbo
156k
1 month tax
7 month mot
Recent service Inc oil, oil and air filter, fuel filter changed about 6 month ago, in tank pump cleaned
Stage 2 pro steve map with launch control.Boosting 19psi
2.5 inch fmic. Egr blanked and mapped out.
Sachs race paddle clutch
307 crank pulley
Straight thru to standard silencer exhaust
Vortex alloys with 15mm spacers (1 is a challenger) all threads are good
Gti brake set up Inc master cylinder, new pagid disks and pads within the last year all round
Lowered 60 mil on koni springs, rear to suit
HKS super power flow mushroom filter
Half leather leaf interior in good condition
206 gti steering wheel
Centre console with boost gauge pod.
Alpine 9855r deck, audiobahn bass tube, alpine v power 700w amp (still plenty of room in the boot)

And tons of parts replaced in my ownership, clutch and acc cables, rear beam mounts, power steering hydrolic ram, drop links, idle tensioner, crank pulley and much more. Ive owned 3 306s before this so if I feel something isn't quite right I replace it!!

Few minor bad points, bear in mind I'm quite critical of my car.

Requires two cv boots before fitting tie rods and tres that I think it could do with. I already have these.
Also have a pair of meyle HD drop links that I haven't got round to fitting
Wheels could do with a refurb IMO.
Minor stone chips at the front.
Drivers door has been replaced.

There will be loads I've missed. Its one of those cars you'd need to see to appreciate. Overall it drives straight, no funky noises, has always started first time, has a sharp turn of speed, gleams after a wash, uses no oil or water and all the Electrics work (apart from the air con!) I have the galletto, original, S1 and two S2 maps

Feel free to ask me more questions if it helps to make a better valuation. Project thread is here.

Im bearing in mind it will be fellow enthusiasts that the car will attract
. I have a rough figure I think its worth but it would be nice to be sure I ain't dreaming!!

Maybe £1500 to the right buyer, probably struggle to get much more than £1200 though.

RE: just wondering - Arron - 07-03-2013

True. Id imagine I'd get bartered down a bit.

Cheers

Think £1500 would prob be a good starting place with the view to be knocked down abit

Nothing as your not allowed to sell it!

RE: just wondering - Arron - 07-03-2013

I dont think i could bring myself to sell it, especially as summers round the corner its time to enjoy the thing. Its too reliable, insurance is cheap and ive only just put the clutch in, and its booked in for more work next saturday.

But someone i know wants to buy it, i bumped into him last night and he was nagging me to come up with a price and i couldnt give him a valuation.

Haha why... Am i allowed to strip it then!?

RE: just wondering - Poodle - 07-03-2013

Tell him 1800, that way you either get a good deal or you get to keep the car - win win!

RE: just wondering - karl1989 - 07-03-2013

who wants it lol

RE: just wondering - Dave26 - 07-03-2013

Tell him it's only stage 1 and flog the clutch to me.

RE: just wondering - Arron - 07-03-2013

Karl - Chrissy wants it.

Haha yea, it would take a silly offer to make me part with it at the moment. Dave unfortunately he knows its stage 2 - hes drove it, which is why he wants to buy it. I do have a berlingo HDi clutch late for sale cheap like....
