Head unit loose/saggy - Josef - 06-03-2013

Got a nice little JVC DAB number on sale at halfords for £100, iPod control and all that.
I came to fit it today but the cage doesn't lock onto the dash hole properly.
The standard cage that came with the clarion has those two clips and the front that anchor onto the plastic, does this mean the JVC cage isn't suitable?
The result is that the head unit is not supported at the back and hangs down, so the face is at an angle.

Any advice?
I half read somewhere that there should be a rubber buffer at the back?

<<<< I need to change that photo too!

You should of bought mine you tit!!

Anyway back on topic, there must be some clips that can be pressed back to secure it to the inside of the centre console, post a picof the cage

yeah there should be a dozen or more little fins that bend round and hold onto the facia....and/or a piece that bolts out the back of the headunit and slots into a gap at the back

Much better, it's now quite securely locked in!
I've also got a fascia but that's not a great fit, so I'll play about more at the weekend.
Thanks!
