Penetrating oil - DeeTurbo - 03-03-2013 What penetrating oil do you guys use? I've used plus gas but I don't find it too good and I've heard good things about Q10. Has anyone here used this stuff? RE: Penetrating oil - Scott - 03-03-2013 Inb4Samass/giggidy I use 3-in-1 RE: Penetrating oil - Dum-Dum - 03-03-2013 I like plus gas tbh. RE: Penetrating oil - DeeTurbo - 03-03-2013 Is 3-in-1 not a little too thick to work as a penetrating fluid? RE: Penetrating oil - Scott - 03-03-2013 There are a few different ones though, the orange one is penetrating spray. http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_189604_langId_-1_categoryId_255223 RE: Penetrating oil - Rippthrough - 03-03-2013 Plusgas. RE: Penetrating oil - Curt - 03-03-2013 As the thread that was just up about this, Plus Gas. Can't fault it. RE: Penetrating oil - samass - 03-03-2013 Yeah, another plus gas vote, bit, the 3 in 1 stuff is pretty good, but plus gas is better I find RE: Penetrating oil - Curt - 03-03-2013 If it's something you know is going to be trouble, soak it in advance to give it a chance to work RE: Penetrating oil - DeeTurbo - 03-03-2013 (03-03-2013, 09:54 PM)Scott Wrote: There are a few different ones though, the orange one is penetrating spray. RE: Penetrating oil - Poodle - 03-03-2013 Plusgas. /thread RE: Penetrating oil - Jonny81191 - 03-03-2013 I normally make the offending item hot with a blowtorch. Then spray it with whatever I have lying around, usually wd40 or gt85 while it's still hot. Seems to do the trick. RE: Penetrating oil - puglove - 03-03-2013 Plus gas & 3in1 (orange can) RE: Penetrating oil - Danny2009 - 03-03-2013 Elbow grease works well for me RE: Penetrating oil - lolsteve - 03-03-2013 a bit of spit gets things moving for me RE: Penetrating oil - the milkman - 03-03-2013 KY jelly does the trick when I'm penetrating RE: Penetrating oil - Andy - 03-03-2013 I heard using sand helps? I mean those VTEC boys can't be wrong. RE: Penetrating oil - Piggy - 03-03-2013 Double TT half price of wd40...twice as good RE: Penetrating oil - Grant - 04-03-2013 Astraglide /thread |
