Starting issues - MiiTCH - 01-03-2013 Recently I've bad 2 occasions where when I first turn the key, my car won't start, no matter how long i keep turning it over for... Usually if you stop and do it again then it will start, but the other day it took about 4 turns and she started... I've also noticed it doesn't fire up as quick as she used too Any ideas? Seems pretty obvious its an electrical/ignition problem RE: Starting issues - Niall - 01-03-2013 Fuel filter been done recently? Mine was well old and took ages to start but since replacing, starts on about 2 turns. RE: Starting issues - MiiTCH - 01-03-2013 Hmmm, well i skipped it on my last service, and before that it sat around for about a year on the driveway.... I've been driving 2 years now and its coming up to its second service since I've had it... Nothing could have happened to it when it just sat on the driveway could it? Fuel might have gone a bit "rotten"... By the sound of it, all you need to do is change the filter. That's a quick job to do. RE: Starting issues - puglove - 06-03-2013 Thing is being a petrol the filter has prob never been changed. Go buy one and try it. If it works its a super cheap fui |
