lucas keypad . disconnecting battery - Jimbo - 01-03-2013 My friends got a Lucas pump. The keypads disconnected and he never got the code. Obviously the cars running now what happens if he disconnects the battery will it remember the old code or once it's disconnected will it be ok And still start RE: lucas keypad . disconnecting battery - andywhy - 01-03-2013 Should be fine as long as he never connects the pad back up again so the immobiliser comes back on. The code will be the same unknown code that it was before. I remember disconnecting my battery while doing some work and it still started, and my pad was disconnected. But when you disconnect the battery you need to redo the code on the keypad! Then you can remove the keypad console all together and have more storage! |
